Galvano della Volpe (1895 – 1968) was an Italian philosopher of the Contemporary era, associated with Marxism and Continental Philosophy.

Galvano della Volpe was an Italian philosopher and aesthetician and the principal architect of the school of analytical Marxism that came to be known as the Della Volpian school. After early training in Hegelian philosophy he turned in the 1940s and 1950s toward a robust scientific Marxism that took its bearings from logical empiricism and the methodology of the natural sciences. His Logic as a Positive Science, Critique of Taste, and Rousseau and Marx developed a sustained critique of Hegelian dialectic and a materialist aesthetics, while shaping a generation of Italian Marxist thinkers, including Lucio Colletti.
