Rosi Braidotti is an Italian-Australian philosopher, distinguished university professor at Utrecht University, and one of the leading figures of contemporary feminist philosophy and the new posthumanities. Patterns of Dissonance and her Nomadic Subjects trilogy developed an original feminist materialism in conversation with Deleuze and Irigaray, in which the subject is figured as a nomad in transit through situated and embodied differences. The Posthuman and Posthuman Knowledge have made her a central reference for the contemporary critique of Western humanism and for philosophical reflection on biotechnology, climate, and digital culture.
